As part of the annual literature festival at Feministhuset – Kvinnetekstivalen- Katrin Glatz Brubakk will come to give an update from Gaza from her field experience and authorship.
Katrin is a psychologist and trauma-specialist for children in need, as well as being a lecturer and author. She works for doctors without borders Norway and has been to Gaza twice. She has been nominated for- and received several awards for her work with refugee children and families. She has published two books about refugee- and warzones: 'Moria. På innsiden av Europas største flyktningleir' with journalist Guro Kulset Merakerås in 2023, and 'Dagbok fra Gaza. En hjelpearbeiders beretning om tap, traumer og håp' in 2024.
